What is here

This site presents the music and story of Douglas Yates. The recordings and images on it are his, and are here to be listened to and read rather than redistributed. Songs given away for church use are a separate matter and live at church.douglasyates.rocks, where they are released under CC0 — public domain, no permission needed.

Everything here is provided as is. Reasonable care is taken that the files are what they say they are and that the site works, but nothing is guaranteed: not that it will be available, nor that a file is free of defects, nor that it suits any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk, and to the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from that use. Scan what you download, as you should with anything from the internet.

Links point to services not run by us — streaming platforms, file hosts, social networks. What they do is governed by their terms and their privacy policies, not these.

Fair use of the site

Please don't attack it, break into it, or hammer it hard enough to spoil it for someone else. Automated bulk downloading is the one thing that meaningfully costs anything here. If you want the whole catalogue for a legitimate reason, ask at help@douglasyates.rocks and it can be arranged.
